About01

A bit about me

I'm a full-stack developer who likes the unglamorous parts of shipping: the onboarding flow that takes 2 days down to 5 minutes, the parser that quietly ingests claims data, the schema that holds up when the product outgrows its first use case.

I spent four years at Signetic, a US healthcare SaaS, growing from intern to senior engineer and shipping scheduling and billing features used by 8+ pharmacy clients. Now I'm finishing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Manitoba, where I also teach, and my thesis looks at designing technology to support creativity in older adults.

I work across the stack (React and TypeScript on the front, Node, Laravel, and ASP.NET on the back) and I care most about software that's actually used.

  • Delivered full-stack features across scheduling and billing (React, Node/Express APIs, C# PowerApps plugins) used by 8+ pharmacy clients.
  • Re-architected and scaled the scheduling platform as it grew past COVID vaccines into flu shots, smoking cessation, and follow-ups, live at 5+ pharmacies.
  • Built Gmail and Outlook integrations (OAuth, parsing pipelines) and ETL workflows on Celery + Kubernetes processing ~200 emails/day.
  • Mentored 3+ interns, ran technical interviews, and led the Women in Tech Internship Program (20+ participants).
